Your text. The words you type into VOID are processed entirely in your browser. They are never transmitted to our servers. When you release them, they are destroyed client-side. There is no backup, no log, no way to recover what you wrote. This is by design.
Your identity. We don't require accounts, emails, names, or any form of identification. You are anonymous by default, not by opt-in.
Tracking profiles. We don't use analytics services, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking. We don't build behavioral profiles. We don't fingerprint browsers.
To display the global counter and improve the experience, we log the following anonymous data when you press the release button:
A one-way hash of your IP address, salted and rotated monthly. This hash cannot be reversed to reveal your IP. It exists solely to prevent automated abuse (rate limiting).
The ritual type you chose (e.g., fire, water) and the language of your session. If you select an emotion tag, that tag is logged anonymously.
The timestamp of the release.
That's everything. No cookies are set on the public site. No session is created. No personal data is stored.
The administration panel uses a session cookie strictly for authentication. This cookie is limited to the /admin/ path and is not set for regular visitors.
The public experience sets zero cookies. If you access the admin panel (staff only), a single HttpOnly session cookie is used.
We load fonts from Google Fonts. No other third-party services receive data from your visit. We don't use CDNs that log requests, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.
Anonymous activity logs (hash + ritual + timestamp) are retained for statistical purposes. Since these contain no personal data, there is nothing to delete. IP hashes rotate monthly, making even theoretical correlation impossible after 30 days.
All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. The admin panel is protected by IP whitelist and password authentication. The database contains no personal information.
Since we don't collect personal data, there is nothing to request, correct, or delete. If you have questions or concerns, you can reach us through the contact information on our domain.
If we change this policy, we will update this page. Our commitment to not storing your words will never change.
